Are EXCUSES holding you back?
Consciously or subconsciously, excuses have an insidious way of blocking our potential.
Want to break through to a whole new level of possibility?
Does any of this sound familiar?
Time, energy, money...we all have limited resources.
We've messed up, not practiced as much or as hard as we might have, not reached our goals.
And sure, there are reasons those things happened.
But somehow, despite having the same 24 hours in a day, some people manage to find a way through, to make the impossible possible.
You can too.
Here's a few examples of how excuses might be blocking you...

Procrastination
Does something always seem to get in the way of training? Or maybe you find you are just too exhausted or overwhelmed, or easily distracted down a rabbit hole?

Fearful
Maybe what you want seems so impossible, so scary, that you subconsciously sabotage yourself with poor performance or holding back?

Defensive
Perhaps you are sensitive to poor performances or criticism, worried about you or your dog looking bad or not getting results, hate to get things wrong, blame others or trigger easily when confronted?
Guess what...you are not alone
We've all made excuses at some point in our lives, often without even realizing it.
But ultimately, excuses keep you safely caged, cowering and smothered inside your comfort zone.
Imagine you could...
...break out of that cage of excuses and turn every "I can't because..." or "yeah, but..." into "I WILL".
Picture yourself standing tall, doing the hard work, and chasing your dreams with conviction!
Overcome Obstacles
Develop an attitude of determination to find your way around obstacles rather than using excuses for why you can't. Take action consistently.
Courage
Embrace adventure and uncertainty with enthusiasm in the pursuit of your curiosity and passion instead of hiding from possible failure.
Self-Confidence
Stand tall, without ego, able to take responsibility, learn from mistakes and take feedback without shame, insecurity or bluster while maintaining healthy boundaries.
This is where my courses are different. It's not just about performance. It's about growing to become the best competitor—and person—you can be.
At the end of the day, life is a mental game.
In this course, you'll learn how to

Identify excuses vs reasons
Sometimes we don't even know what are excuses and what are real reasons. The most insidious excuses are the ones we don't even realize we are using.

Discover why (& when) YOU make excuses
All excuses have a motivation behind them. Figure out WHY you are making those excuses.

Assess passion and goals
How badly do you really want something? For example, lots of people like the idea of being a top competitor, but is it REALLY your passion?

Be honest about resources
Time, money, facilities, resources. What do you really need to move forward?

Set realistic priorities
Did you honestly not have the time? Or are there problems with your priorities and systems?

Deal with fears, insecurities & ego
We all have these. But we can still be comfortable in our own skin, take responsibility, and show leadership.
Why this course?
Learning these lessons was a big part of my growth as an elite athlete.
I've seen it again and again, both in my own competitive career and as a coach. Blame and passing the buck might protect you or get you short-term gain. But they are destructive in the long term...to growth, to teamwork, and to real, lasting mastery.
I've spent over 40 years in elite sport as a student, competitor and coach, studied Human Performance at university and graduated from the National Coaching Institute of Canada.
I've represented Canada on the world stage in three different sports, won multiple medals, including national and world championships, and coached at the provincial, university, national and international levels in various sports.
And I guarantee you, top performers rarely use excuses to justify lack of performance. And they work hard to root out and remove subconscious excuses.
So the question is... do you WANT to stop making excuses?
